BENEFITS:

1.Beneficial for industries with major power consumption in general shift as it now offers cheapest energy

2.Green attributes now available at a lower cost of 25p compared to 66p earlier

3.10% disount on wheeling charges applicable to Data centre and semi conductor units which consume 100% green energy through OA or through Green tariff or combination

4.For >50L unit consumption, Bulk consumption rebate has increased by Rs. 0.03/unit

5.Unit charges for Commercial category are considerably reduced

6.Energy banked during solar TOD hours (0900 Hrs - 1700 Hrs) may be drawn in the same ToD slot only.

LIMITATIONS:

1. Offset hours for banked energy now reduced for open access and rooftop solar consumers thus limiting the quantum of energy sourced through Open access / Rooftop solar plants

2. Savings reduced for Open access consumers when compared with the energy sourced from DISCOM

3. For 1L-10L unit consumption, Bulk consumption rebate has reduced to half than before

4. For 10L-50L unit consumption, Bulk consumption rebate has reduced than before
